Brandon Mabile of Performance Contractors presented during AIC’s March meeting and expressed the importance of the Port of Morgan City by noting the following: “Morgan City is so great to come and do business.” “You have a great port here. You have deep water, access to the Atchafalaya, access to the Intracoastal.” “There’s very few places in the state that you can build 3,000-ton modules, get them on barges, and get them out to the Gulf. Morgan City is one of the few.”
