Construction of the boat launch was completed mid-June 2012
Construction is underway on a boat launch behind the Port of Morgan City's facilities at 800 Youngs Road, Morgan City, Louisiana. The launch, which will accommodate up to 40-foot vessels, is being built in order to accommodate government and state agencies such as U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Customs and Wildlife and Fisheries. This ramp will provide its users with a modern secure area to launch their vessels at any time day or night.
