At the request of Representative Karen St. Germain, Chairman of the House Committee on Highways, Transportation and Public Works, the Ports Association of Louisiana organized a tour of south Louisiana ports prior to the 2013 Legislative Session. The tour allowed members of the committee to familiarize themselves with activities at ports along the Mississippi River as well as the coastal ports that provide oil and gas off-shore support.
Scott Thomas, Vice-President of Finance for InterMoor, Inc. Morgan City Operation provided the group with an overview of how InterMoor’s Morgan City facility became a reality.
